Personal Training
We offer a comprehensive and holistic approach to help you achieve your goals and attain a state of optimum physical, mental and emotional health. Many of the training principles and techniques are derived from those used with elite athletes and adapted for the needs people from all walks of life.
Personal Training sessions can be on a one to one basis or in groups of up to 4 clients. Sessions can be tailored to assist clients achieve one or more of the following:
- Weight Loss and Toning - reduce bodyfat to achieve a leaner, slim physique.
- Muscle Gain - increase muscle mass and definition for a more muscular physique.
- Instruction and supervision of correct exercise technique - emphasis is placed on performing all exercises with correct technique to ensure exercises are not dangerous and ineffective.
- Cardiovascular conditioning - improving the function of heart, lungs and circulatory systems.
- Strength training - train body movements to increase levels of strength, lean body mass, stability and mobility.
- Core stability - the core is the foundation to efficient human movement and is vital for optimising performance and health.
- Flexibility - reduce tightness and increase joint range of motion.
- Injury Rehabilitation and Prevention - improve posture and alignment by strengthening the most vulnerable areas that get stressed in everyday movement (the lower back, shoulders and hips).
- Improving quality of life - exercise has been shown to improve the quality of life of the elderly, disabled and those with medical issues by increasing functional capacity.
